Who is Cree Drayton?
A native of Middletown, Delaware, Cree Drayton, M.S., CF-SLP is a wife, mother of two, business owner, a speech-language pathologist, and the teacher every child deserves. Cree received her bachelor’s degree in Speech-language Pathology from Howard University (H-U… You Know!) in 2013 and she received her master’s degree from New York University in Speech-Language Pathology in 2020. She has been an educator for the past 8 years. Cree is currently working with students from grades K-12 on the Autism Spectrum with varying levels of speech capability.
In 2020, as the pandemic turned most of our lives upside down, Cree had found a way to make lemonade out of her lemons. Cree did something that is relatively new in the speech profession: She became a TELETHERAPIST. Cree provides speech and language therapy to students and families through live video chat. This has provided her with a unique experience to work with not only the students, but their families as well. This has enabled Cree to be creative and think outside of the box to reach her students at their level of ability. She makes speech, fun and engaging while giving her students an extra push to reach their goals.
